Recipe: Minty Mocha Almond Butter Smoothie
Serves 1, or 2 as a snack; approx 300/150 cals each
Ingredients:
- 1 cup nonfat Milk, your choice (dairy give 8 g protein)
- 1 frozen Banana
- 1 large handful of Spinach or baby Kale
- 1 tsp Cocoa powder
- 1 tsp instant Coffee granules
- 1 Tbsp Almond Butter
- 1/4 tsp Peppermint Extract
- Ice cubes
Optional:
1/2 scoop of your favorite protein powder
OR 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt (11 g protein)
Blend until smooth and enjoy.
